I just love this video, I really enjoying delving into the human mind. I think Jon is a great journalist and a fantastic story teller. I’ve listened to him on a few things and always find him very interesting. I plan on picking up a few of his books soon. This Ted talk was the first time I encountered Jon and have showed it to many people who like intriguing things like I do, now I want to share it with all of you! I hope you enjoy Jon’s story as much as I do!
Do you see people in black and white? Or do you listen and try to learn more about them and why they do what they do? I touched on this in my podcast with Ss
am. Everyone says not to judge a book by it’s cover, but I believe we all do a bit. We see our differences whether they be race, religion, sexual orientation, cultural, etc. We see them and we judge them by what we like or dislike about that person. I believe it’s important to not judge by our differences and by what makes us the same. Live in a world where you accept those different from you, don’t judge off of one aspect of them - get to know them for who they are, and live in a world where you like others for who they are and not what they are. Don’t make life all black and white, have some grey area too.
